  1. Slice the corn tortillas into super fine julienne strips, aiming for a width of about 1/16 inch.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or a large, deep skillet over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
  3. Gently add small batches of the tortilla strips to the hot oil to avoid clumping. Fry for 2-3 minutes, or until they turn golden brown and crisp.
  4. Use a slotted spoon to remove the tortilla strips from the oil and place them on paper towels to drain any excess oil.
  5. While still hot, season the tortilla strips with salt, black pepper, and Tajin seasoning, tossing them lightly to ensure they are evenly coated.
