Works directly with National Account Customers and coordinates market intelligence for stakeholders for demand planning needs. Utilizes a forecasting replenishment system and other software applications to drive continuous improvement with customer in-stock performance, inventory turns, and product loss. Continually strengthens customer relationships and builds trust by serving as a liaison between GFS Supply Chain and the customer.
How you will make an impact:
Provides inventory data to customers and National Account teams.
Coordinates new business. Involved in the implementation process, loading and communicating usage information to purchasing team.
Serves as an information resource to National Account Coordinators and National Account Managers on product related questions regarding inventory levels, discontinued items, excessive orders and general product information.
Recommends forecast adjustments to incorporate market intelligence, promotional movement and seasonal demand.
Takes ownership of time sensitive, new product listings and inventory levels for promotional activity for National Account customers, working in collaboration with the National Account Coordinator and Purchasing Teams.
Using available reporting, Identifies slow moving items and potential dead stock items at Divisional level and takes action to assist specific assigned Chain Customers.
Provides pertinent information to facilitate cross-functional communication among GFS departments.
Leverages experience and industry knowledge to gather and disseminate market intelligence.
Collaborates with National Account team members and National Account customers to effectively plan for future events, limited time offers and inventory requirements according to customer needs.
Works closely with the National Account Coordinators and Purchasing Teams to manage inventory levels to the customers expectations and business needs.
Manages service level expectations for assigned customer and drives continuous improvement.
Works in collaboration with the National Account teams to foster the customer relationship.
Collaborates with the customer, National Account Teams, and Purchasing/Logistics to forecast seasonal and holiday product demand.
Establishes and maintains business rules; lead time, safety stock, networks, etc.
Understand customer’s menu. Manages product changes due to menu rotations and promotional activity.
Identifies and resolves supply chain issues utilizing available resources.
Collaborates with Purchasing, National Account Coordinators, National Account Manager and customers on product disposition.
Performs other duties as assigned.
