Essential Functions:

Delivery:

• Provides superior customer service to all customers through safe, timely, and efficient deliveries of products.
• Builds and maintains good customer relationships.
• Accurately collects customer payment.  Safeguards company funds and follows banking policies.
• Collaborates with store and sales management to communicate and resolve customer concerns.
• Completes check-ins in a timely manner.
• Performs daily pre/post trip inspection of vehicle and equipment.
• Manages paperwork in order to complete customer pick-ups or credits.
• Performs equipment checks and reports mechanical issues and damages.  Maintains cleanliness and ensures completion of routine maintenance of delivery vehicles.
• Lead drivers are responsible for training new drivers on company procedures, safety protocols, and route navigation. 
• May be asked to assist with reports on driver performance, route efficiency, and other relevant metrics.
• May support accident follow up ride-alongs and provide feedback to the Store Manager on performance.

In Store:

• Accurately locates and picks customer orders in-store.
• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer purchases through the point of sale. Ensure security of assets including cash, checks, and merchandise by following policies and procedures.
• Accurately receive and merchandise products, ensuring proper rotation and product quality, end cap and planogram execution, top stock, freezer, cooler and backroom organization.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Ability to meet the physical demands of this job including lifting, pulling, and pushing products
• Basic knowledge of a computer, including Google applications.

Equipment / Tools / Technology:

• Delivery van and box truck
• On-board computer and handheld scanner
• Two-wheel cart with a load weighing up to 350 pounds
• Uses dollies and other safety equipment to aid in the lifting and carrying of products
• Point of sale
• Cart

Education & Minimum Experience Requirements 

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) plus one year previous driving experience and one year experience in customer service or related field
• Must have or be able to obtain a DOT Physical
• Must have been in the Van Delivery Driver or Sales Service Box Truck Driver role for at least one year
• Valid Unrestricted Driver’s License required, CDL preferred
• No drug or alcohol offenses in the last 3 years
• Must be 21 years of age or older
