The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Domain Architect will be a hands-on architect who will play a pivotal role in implementing and supporting our greenfield Microsoft Dynamics 365 on Azure implementation. You will be at the forefront of innovation, leveraging the latest technology to streamline our business processes, optimize system performance, and implement preventive measures to ensure smooth operations. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving our business forward by identifying areas for continuous improvement and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement effective solutions.

What you will do:

Translates Business Needs into Technology Solutions

  • Understands business drivers and capabilities (future and current state) and determines corresponding system designs and change requirements to drive the organization’s targeted business outcomes.

  • Understands emerging technology trends and the practical application of existing, new, and emerging technologies to enable new and evolving business and operating models.

  • Provides deliverables like standard definitions, reference models and architecture designs to help the Enterprise Architecture Board (EAB) assess the impact of new and ongoing technology investment on the business and IT.

Leads Technical Design and Implementation

  • Leads evaluation for the implementation of business solutions within the specialty companies domain based on business requirements and enterprise standards.

  • Creates designs to guide and contextualize implementations within the domain.

  • Design and develop software solutions according to the specifications and established coding standards, and testing them for accuracy and optimal performance

  • Delivers technical proof of concepts that provide technical context and modeling

  • Provides direction and mentorship for junior engineers 

Orchestrates Solutions Delivery

  • Defines the principles, guidelines, standards and patterns to ensure decisions are aligned with the future-state enterprise architecture vision.

  • Facilitates the evaluation and selection of software product standards and services, as well as the design of standard and custom software configurations.

  • Monitors the current-state solution portfolio to identify deficiencies through aging of the technologies used by the application, or misalignment with business requirements.

Facilitates and Collaborates to Deliver Business Outcomes

  • Works closely with the product owners and product managers to ensure a robust architectural runway that can support future business requirements throughout the product life cycle.

  • Supports communities of practice (CoP), guiding and helping  agile teams, product owners, and application architects to align with the overall enterprise architecture governance and assurance.

  • Communicate and ensure adherence to architecture standards across the team’s product portfolio

  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What you will bring to the table:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field

  • 6 years of experience in technical architecture or a similar role

  • Application/database design experience and technical architecture

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and integration strategies preferred

  • Excels working independently and as part of a team

  • Experience building and supporting business solutions on cloud platforms, preferably Azure

  • Demonstrated mastery of current development technologies

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365  x++ programming language

  • Commitment to software quality

  • Hybrid Schedule 4 days in office 1 day remote

  • Monday to Friday

  • 8 am to 5 pm
