Hummingbird Cake With Pineapple Rum Glaze

1 serving Hummingbird Cake Base
1 serving Cream Cheese Frosting
1 serving Pineapple Rum Glaze
Recipe Preparation
Spread a layer of cream cheese frosting between each cake layer.
Frost the top and sides of the cake. Chill slightly to set.
Spoon pineapple-rum glaze over the top of the frosted cake just before serving.
Garnish with extra chopped pecans or dried pineapple if desired.
For a plated dessert, serve slices with warmed glaze and a quenelle of vanilla bean gelato.
Glaze may be served tableside or applied as a drip glaze around the rim for visual appeal.
