I agree to commence any action or other legal proceeding arising out of my employment, application for employment, or termination of my employment with Gordon Food Service, Inc. or any of its affiliates, within one year of the event giving rise to the claim or be forever barred, except with regard to those claims arising under the federal Equal Pay Act. I understand that if not brought within the time period proscribed herein, the claims are forever barred, and I waive any statute of limitations periods to the contrary.
