Position Summary:
The Senior Rebate Analyst takes more of a lead role to assist leadership with analytical data as needed, including but not limited to the month-end close process, GL account reconciliation & analysis, preparation of various monthly reports ,and provide support for day to day activity. Also, collaborates on strategic projects as necessary.
What you will do:
Lead department projects (smaller scale).
Preparing and analyzing account reconciliations.
At times they will coordinate and oversee the work of an Analyst.
Month end reporting.
Closely monitors accruals and investigates discrepancies.
Review monthly check / credit memo reporting to verify correct processing of agreement/incentives.
Quarterly Review and annual audit of key controls for their department
Generate reporting for their customers and resolve rebate disputes or inquiries to ensure customer satisfaction.
Annual presentations to internal customers as appropriate
Investigates issues and exceptions and resolve with little to no direction based on analysis and ensure timely communication as needed.
Back up in Supervisor/Manager’s absence.
Demonstrate commitment to business ethics and drive integrity, accountability, collaboration, and trust across the company.
Performs other duties as assigned.
When you will work:
Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm.
Hybrid Work Schedule: 4 days in office, 1 day from home.
What you’ll bring to the table:
A minimum of 3 years of Accounting experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related.
Ability to process, manipulate, and analyze large amounts of data using Microsoft Excel
Must possess the ability to work under tight timelines and manage multiple tasks
Strong written, verbal, organizational and communication skills
Results oriented, has a willingness to take on responsibility to manage multiple and varied projects
Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
Team player with the ability to work independently
Experience with general ledger
