We are seeking a Senior IFS Field Service Management Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in supporting our InnoServ ERP (IFS Field Service Management).  You will be at the forefront of innovation, helping to streamline our business processes, optimize system performance, and implement preventive measures to ensure smooth operations. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving our business forward by identifying areas for continuous improvement and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement effective solutions.

What you will do:

  • Develops programs or scripts according to specification and established coding standards

  • Analyzes, reviews and tests for accuracy and optimal implementation of developed solutions

  • Analyzes current business systems, determines scope and estimates for tasks related to issues to be resolved

  • Performs integrated testing of systems for accuracy, reliability and optimal performance

  • Constructs various software components and validates completeness and quality

  • May coordinate development efforts, and coordinate and assist with code review  

  • Establishes and enforces coding standards for programs or scripts

  • Mentors Associate or Intermediate software engineers

  • Analyzes and resolves program/script or system failures

  • Facilitates formal code reviews for programs/scripts

  • Performs software system maintenance, support and requirement analysis

  • Assists in designing GUI and software components

  • May participate in on-call support rotation

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred plus five or more years of related software development experience required.

  • Prior development or support experience with IFS Field Service Management ERP is highly desired.
