Gift Box Coordinator- Seasonal Part/Full Time

This position is responsible for the Holiday gift box program/process and serves as primary contact for Gordon Food Service (GFS) sales employees. In addition, you will interfaces with multiple departments, ensuring accurate inventory management and timely delivery of gift boxes.

Essential functions:

  • Manages the Holiday gift box program for GFS and serves as primary contact for interna sales team members.

  • Provides timely gift box quotes to requesting sales team members

  • Enters gift box orders in system, ensuring accuracy and data integrity and inventory management.

  • Coordinates internal communication with Sales, Logistics, Traffic, Special Order and Customer Service, ensuring product delivery is accurate and timely.

  • Collaborates with Traffic department to plan for delivery and schedule extra trucks if necessary.

  • Adheres to the mission and cornerstone values and applicable practices of the organization

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Position requirements:

  • High school diploma and minimum 2 years college course credits.

  • One year previous administrative experience

  • Must have excellent written, verbal, organizational and communication skills as well as problem solving capabilities.

  • Must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize and be able to work independently or within a team environment.

  • Must have good customer service and time management skills.

  • Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Refers to policies and practices for guidance.

  • Knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, presentation, email and internet software applications.
