Gordon Food Service is hiring an Finance Supervisor. Develops, plans and evaluates Specialty Company/Strategic Alliance (SC/SA) business unit budgeting, financial analysis activities and adherence to organizational financial policies. Provides financial insight and decision support for the leadership team on all financial and operational matters. Leads and develops a financial team within their area of responsibility and builds strong relationships with divisional leadership and cross-functional GFS departments.
Responsibilities:
Accountable for accurate month-end financial close, analysis and reporting. Prepares forecasts, annual budgets, and capital ROI analysis. Ensures the integrity of reporting and internal controls at divisions.
Collaborates with the SC/SA division leadership staff to reinforce GFS’ culture and values and provides financial leadership vision, strategic direction and council.
Leads, develops and mentors a financial team.
Creates business requirements for new IT systems and collaborates with IT team and SC/SA staff to implement change.
Assists in the development of business goals and objectives, analyzes financial and non-financial information to identify trends or concerns, monitors key business indicators and provides leadership with recommendations to improve present and future financial performance.
Develops working relationships with key operational staff and cross-functional departments at GFS.
Serves as a liaison to all centralized accounting and shared service functions and ensures compliance with all enterprise and division policies and procedures.
Oversees capital spending and long-range planning for the division.
Leads multiple projects with adept project management skills
Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience:
Bachelor degree required Finance, Accounting, Economics or related
Minimum of 5 years of progressive Corporate Finance or Corporate FP&A experience or related background preferred
