Identifies US National healthcare targets, develops a process to maintain visibility with and build relationships with decision makers to foster future business opportunities. Develops future profitable sales for all divisions, including matching new business opportunities with current service capacity, while maximizing the GFS value proposition. Works with Distribution Market Advantage (DMA) to offer national coverage. Monitors the healthcare standards as well as financial consolidation in the Industry.
How you will make an impact:
Develops potential account relationships within target customer.
Creates steady growth that is aligned with the organization and the distributor network planning
Understands key players, applications, requirements and trends within the foodservice industry
Creates sustainable value propositions for potential customers that aligns GFS capabilities with the potential customer value drivers
Fully utilizes contact management pipeline software solutions to update team members on status and activities
Develops strategic selling approach with targeted potential customers.
Utilizes and applies customer profitability model and pricing strategies to negotiate customer contracts
Creates and presents highly professional presentations for potential new customers
Communicates and collaborates with internal and external teams.
Analyzes the profitability of new potential customers to ensure the new customers bring a balanced portfolio to Healthcare Accounts.
Responsible for transitioning a new account to the National Account Management team
Adheres to the mission and cornerstone values and applicable practices of the organization
Performs other duties as assigned.
What you’ll bring to the table:
Five or more years of Sales or Marketing experience
Excellent written, verbal, organizational and communication skills
Problem solving capabilities, ability to think strategically
Highly motivated
Ability to prepare and deliver presentations and speak at minor functions as a departmental representative.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize
Ability to work independently or within a team environment
Strong customer service focus, inquisitive, innovative and creativity to build relationships, network, link resources and apply business practices.
Ability to understand and utilize market research and P&L statements
Ability to develop solutions to a variety of complex problems. May refer to established precedents and policies.
