Schedule: 2nd Shift : Sunday – Thursday,  6:45PM until Finish
Pay:$21.03/hour

As a Warehouse Sorting System Controller you will be monitoring warehouse case flow through the sortation system ensuring proper batch order, proper scanning/sorting of cases and the minimization of downtime for the production team.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Utilizing system productivity, minimize downtime and ensure maximum amount of cases sort correctly to ship lanes

  • Monitor merge screens to ensure system is running efficiently and accurately

  • Use our Warehouse Management System (WMS) to monitor pending, pre-sorted, and sorted statuses

  • Walkthrough of the system before lunch and at the end of day to ensure no cases are left in system

  • Turn the maximum number of cases possible to ensure labels are scanned/sorted by system

  • Communicate with multiple departments through proper radio communication any system and production issues promptly

  • Follow all Lockout/Tagout and Arc-flash safety procedures at all times

  • Maintain & save  merge log properly for each shift

 

Like any job, there are some requirements:

  • 18 years of age or older (required).

  • Lockout/Tagout training, Arc-flash training, PIV certification must be completed upon hire and maintained thereafter (required).

  • Warehouse experience OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience (preferred).

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent (preferred).

  • Computer acumen (required).

  • Excellent communication skills (required)

  • Proficient with Sort Control system including conveyors, photoeyes, and sorters (preferred).

  • Manage multiple tasks at once.

  • Must be able to work holidays as required

  • Lift  and/or move up to 100 pounds.  

  • Employees in all warehouse positions must be able to immediately perceive auditory warning signals such as bells, alarms, and horns that are used to warn employees of the startup, movement, or approach of equipment ( including forklifts, turrets, overhead cranes, conveyors, trucks, and other equipment operated inside or outside the warehouse), mechanical abnormalities, and similar risk situations during warehouse operations.  

  • Successfully pass our Drug Test and Background Check requirements (Note – we do not check your credit score).

  • Valid email so we can follow up with you and let you know what’s happening next in the process.
