A Freight Handler safely removes pallets of product from the trailer and breaks down the product for the correct pallet configuration.
Responsibilities:
Safely removes pallets of product from trailer
Breaks down pallets of product to the correct height and width to be stored in the warehouse
Separates inbound freight
Ensures placement of product in sufficient quantities to accommodate routine and/or special demands.
Ensures that all products are separated by item code onto pallets
Ensures that damaged product is properly accounted for and not received into warehouse for sale inventory.
Sorts and disposes of boxes.
Clears conveyor lines and surrounding areas of all extraneous inventory.
Adheres to the mission and cornerstone values and applicable practices of the organization.
Performs other duties as assigned.
