Gordon Food Service, North America’s largest family-managed foodservice distributor, today announced it will hold a series of direct-hire job fairs at its distribution center in Imperial, PA. The first will be Tuesday, July 27, 2021. Job seekers can apply, interview, and potentially receive an offer on the spot.
Established in 2015, Gordon Food Service’s Imperial distribution center is a more than 470,000 sq. ft. facility presently employing approximately 250 people on 2 shifts. The facility provides foodservice delivery to restaurants, K-12 schools and higher ed institutions, as well as hospitals and other healthcare settings.
Gordon Food Service is looking to hire selectors, packers, and route delivery drivers in its warehouse and transportation departments. Wages for warehouse roles average between $20 – $25 per hour and transportation starting wages average $1250 per week. Both warehouse and transportation jobs are eligible for bonuses and incentive pay.
