Create a more reliable workforce for the foodservice industry.

For some, earning a food handler card or food manager certification can feel daunting. The food service industry has many options for training, and it can feel overwhelming for people to know which one will make them (or their staff) most successful in their roles. Trust20 is helping create a more reliable workforce for the foodservice industry by providing training, certification, and other resources.

Trust20 offers three certificate training programs and a Food Protection Manager Certification. They were developed in collaboration with operators, staff, and experts, and are available to food service workers across all sectors of the industry, including healthcare and education.

Training & Certification

Trust20 launched its first product, a Food Handler Certificate Training, in 2021. This course covers the essentials of food safety for anyone who comes directly in contact with food. The mobile-friendly training uses real-life examples and interactive lessons to make learning easy.

Trust20’s Food Allergy Certificate Training is designed to help industry professionals feel confident serving customers with food allergies and intolerances. The material covers information about preventing allergic reactions, as well as what to do in the event of a reaction. The course also discusses sesame, the latest addition to the major food allergens acknowledged by the FDA.

Their most recent course, a Food Manager Certificate Training, equips operators, managers, and other persons in charge with the knowledge and skills they need to lead their teams and protect their establishment from a foodborne illness outbreak.

All of Trust20’s courses can be accessed from your computer, tablet, or smartphone. Each training is broken into bite-sized modules with gamified knowledge checks and interactive scenarios. Once learners have passed a final assessment, they can easily download a digital copy of their certificates to share with their employer.

Trust20 will also begin offering Food Protection Manager Certification services in 2023. When candidates purchase access to Trust20’s Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) exam, they can easily schedule their remote-proctored, online testing session and get their CFPM exam results ASAP.

Other Resources: State Requirements & Blog Content

It can be difficult for people to keep track of the specific requirements for training in their state. Thankfully, Trust20 has made it easy to find the right answer with a state-by-state guide to the requirements for food handling, allergen awareness, and food manager training.

Trust20 also provides a robust catalog of blogs covering a variety of topics including food safety management systems, career advice, and more.
