Gordon Food Service today announced it has appointed Kara Gordon Warren to the Company’s Board of Directors. Kara will be the first member of the fifth generation of the Gordon family to join the Board of Directors. Her service on the Board will begin in October 2016.
Following graduation from Taylor University and employment experience with a publishing company in Chicago, Kara began her career with Gordon Food Service in 2003 as a sales representative, first in Chicago and then in Grand Rapids. In 2007 she joined the company’s Category Management team. Kara became the Director of eBusiness in 2011, Director of Business Transformation in 2013, and Marketing Director for the Great Lakes Division in 2014. Kara is currently the Assistant General Manager for the company’s Florida Division and will become General Manager for the division in April 2017.
