En la actual batalla por el talento y la retenci\u00f3n del personal, est\u00e1n saliendo ganando aquellos operadores que ofrecen orientaci\u00f3n a su plantilla.<\/p>\n<p>\u00bfAs\u00ed que formas a tu personal y les ense\u00f1as nuevas habilidades? Genial, est\u00e1s haciendo coaching. La mentor\u00eda es diferente. Consiste en desarrollar habilidades interpersonales (comunicaci\u00f3n y relaciones) y habilidades t\u00e9cnicas (c\u00f3mo realiza una persona su trabajo). La mentor\u00eda empieza por conocer qu\u00e9 buscan los trabajadores a nivel individual y ofrecerles una estrategia que vaya \u201cm\u00e1s all\u00e1 del presente\u201d, para que se impliquen en el futuro de tu empresa y encuentren su lugar donde destacar.<\/p>\n<p>El diccionario define \u201cmentor\u201d como \u00abun asesor con experiencia o de confianza\u00bb. Es una definici\u00f3n que apenas roza la superficie. Esta es la diferencia entre un jefe, un entrenador y un mentor:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Un jefe te dice QU\u00c9 tienes que hacer<\/li>\n<li>Un entrenador te ense\u00f1a C\u00d3MO hacer algo<\/li>\n<li>Un mentor te explica POR QU\u00c9 lo haces<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Con un mentor, se adopta una perspectiva a largo plazo, en la que se eval\u00faa el rendimiento del trabajador cuando es necesario, pero siempre fomentando su potencial.<\/p>\n<p>Entonces, \u00bfpor qu\u00e9 es importante la tutor\u00eda? A lo largo de los a\u00f1os, los empresarios han invertido en competencias t\u00e9cnicas: los camareros m\u00e1s r\u00e1pidos, los cocineros de l\u00ednea m\u00e1s eficientes, los mejores creadores de contenido para redes sociales y los usuarios m\u00e1s expertos en programas de contabilidad. Sin embargo, no han invertido en competencias transversales, como el liderazgo de equipos o la resoluci\u00f3n de problemas.<\/p>\n<p>Cuando un responsable deja el puesto, a menudo lo ocupa la siguiente persona en la l\u00ednea de sucesi\u00f3n: un empleado con s\u00f3lidas competencias t\u00e9cnicas. A <a href=\"https:\/\/resources.globoforce.com\/globoforce-blog\/survey-93-of-managers-need-training-on-coaching-employees\">Encuesta de globoforce.com<\/a> pone de relieve el problema.
