17 de noviembre de 2025. Gordon Food Service ha anunciado hoy dos nuevos nombramientos ejecutivos. Kara Gordon-Warren, actual presidenta de Distribuci\u00f3n en EE. UU., pasar\u00e1 a ocupar el cargo de directora de estrategia de la empresa, al tiempo que seguir\u00e1 desempe\u00f1ando su funci\u00f3n como vicepresidenta del consejo de administraci\u00f3n de la empresa. Tommy Gordon, actualmente director general de la Divisi\u00f3n Central de los Grandes Lagos y tambi\u00e9n miembro del consejo de administraci\u00f3n de la empresa, suceder\u00e1 a Kara como presidente de Distribuci\u00f3n en EE. UU. Ambos nombramientos entrar\u00e1n en vigor el 1 de febrero de 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gordon-Warren y Gordon son los miembros de mayor antig\u00fcedad de la quinta generaci\u00f3n de la familia Gordon que ocupan cargos de direcci\u00f3n en Gordon Food Service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En su nuevo cargo de directora de estrategia, Gordon-Warren seguir\u00e1 formando parte del equipo directivo de Norteam\u00e9rica y depender\u00e1 del director general, Rich Wolowski. Wolowski ha declarado: \u201cKara dirigir\u00e1 nuestras iniciativas de estrategia empresarial en colaboraci\u00f3n con la vicepresidenta Mandy Tahnoven, impulsar\u00e1 las iniciativas de desarrollo corporativo y garantizar\u00e1 la ejecuci\u00f3n de nuestras estrategias en toda la empresa\u201d.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Como presidente de Distribuci\u00f3n en EE. UU., Gordon se incorporar\u00e1 al equipo directivo de Norteam\u00e9rica y depender\u00e1 de Wolowski, quien ha declarado: \u201cTommy tendr\u00e1 la responsabilidad general de la estrategia, los planes, la ejecuci\u00f3n y los resultados de nuestro negocio de distribuci\u00f3n en EE. UU. Trabajar\u00e1 en estrecha colaboraci\u00f3n con nuestros vicepresidentes regionales y con el resto de miembros del equipo directivo de alto nivel, que depender\u00e1n de \u00e9l\u201d.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kara Gordon-Warren se licenci\u00f3 en la Universidad Taylor y trabaj\u00f3 para una editorial cristiana en Chicago. Se incorpor\u00f3 a Gordon Food Service en 2003 en el departamento de ventas y ha desempe\u00f1ado diversos cargos, entre ellos los de gesti\u00f3n de categor\u00edas, comercio electr\u00f3nico y marketing. Ocup\u00f3 el cargo de directora general de la divisi\u00f3n de Florida antes de ser nombrada presidenta de Distribuci\u00f3n en EE. UU. En 2016 pas\u00f3 a formar parte del consejo de administraci\u00f3n de la empresa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tommy Gordon se licenci\u00f3 en el Hope College y trabaj\u00f3 para organizaciones sin \u00e1nimo de lucro en Colorado. Se incorpor\u00f3 a Gordon Food Service en el departamento de ventas en 2015. Contribuy\u00f3 a la creaci\u00f3n de Relish Works y, posteriormente, dirigi\u00f3 el desarrollo de las capacidades digitales de la empresa antes de ser nombrado director general de la Divisi\u00f3n Central de los Grandes Lagos.
