Diesel Technician
Hit the road at night, be home every day and drive with a company that values your skills and safety.
- Night shifts – home daily
- Transport loaded and empty trailers (singles or doubles) between GFS Distribution Centers or point to-point routes
- No-touch freight – focus on driving, not unloading
- Weekly pay with component pay, per-day and per-trip rates
- Operate a 10-speed transmission – no auto restriction
- CDL-A and Doubles/T endorsement required upon hire
- Must be 21+ and able to push/pull up to 50 lbs when connecting trailers
Non-CDL A Van Driver
Non-CDL A Van Driver: Start your driving career with local routes, great pay, and a team that invests in your growth.
- Home daily with local routes – Monday to Friday, early morning start
- Deliver to restaurants, schools, hospitals & more
- Handle a variety of deliveries – from smaller loads to unexpected orders and urgent customer needs
- Build customer relationships while representing Gordon Food Service
- Get paid weekly with bonuses and pay guarantees
- Stay active – unload cases up to 100 lbs using a two-wheeler
- Grow into a CDL-A role – license required within 90 days
- Must be 21+ with at least one year of driving experience
Overnight Transit Driver
Transporting loaded and empty trailers from GFS Distribution centers or point-to-point, may require doubles endorsements.
Chain/Regional Driver
Drive for a company that values your work, your time, and your home life—regional routes with great pay and support.
- Night shifts & regional routes – home most nights with 1–2 overnights per week (hotel provided by GFS)
- Deliver to regional chain restaurants while building strong customer relationships
- 4-day work week with one- and two-day routes
- Get paid for every mile, stop, and case – guaranteed weekly pay plus daily base and component pay
- Stay active – unload cases up to 100 lbs using ramp and two-wheeler (loads up to 350 lbs)
- CDL-A required – newly licensed drivers encouraged to apply
- Must be 21+
Assistant Transportation Manager
Support and lead a transportation team that delivers excellence every day – grow your career with Gordon Food Service.
- Lead and coach drivers through meetings, mentoring, ride-alongs and training
- Manage team operations – participate in hiring, training, performance reviews and recognition
- Oversee daily operations
- Ensure regulatory compliance
- Provide route coverage
Transportation Manager

- Oversee transportation operations to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective deliveries
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of drivers and transportation staff
- Promote safety through training, incident investigation, and preventative measures
- Fill in on routes as needed to support the team
